Andrew McMahon In the Wilderness - The Resolution - Commentary paroles de chanson

paroles de chanson The Resolution - Commentary - Andrew McMahon In the Wilderness

I was diagnosed with leukemia in 2005.
That′s something a lot of my fans know.
In the years that followed,
As I kind of got back to work and
I would be interviewed a lot by different publications,
This was the topic that really only, only...
It seem like anybody ever really wanted to talk about, and
I found myself like a little frustrated with that.
And it wasn't something I really wanted to revisit at that point.
You know, now, it′s not as much of a thing for me.
But at the time I sort of felt a little defiant,
And this song I think you hear it in the lyric.
It's like sort of this idea that like I haven't really
Made my way to the other side of whatever this difficulty is
Or this recovery is but I think the core sort of says,
You know, "I don′t need a witness to tell me I survived."
It′s this idea that I've,
I know I′ve made it through this horrible thing
But talking about it isn't necessarily making it,
Making it any better and that′s really where this came from.
