Irgendwann in meiner Jugend hab ich mal einen buch gelesen
Was ist Anarchie? Ein Leben ohne Herrschaftswesen
Dann hab ich geträumt von ner besseren Welt
Und so schön, dass auch du das für was besseres hältst
Ich wollte Kriege beenden, immer am Pläne schmieden
Theorieowochenenden und sich ständig verlieben
In die Leichtigkeit, dass alles so einfach scheint
Zeitgleich Theorie und Praxis- die Gemeinsamkeit
Dann nur noch Gedanken und ich scheiterte am Handeln
Vereinzelung und Verzweiflung einfach umzuwandeln
Und die Träume wurde blasser, eine Geistgestalt
Dann alles nur noch Hustle, wie mans kennt dann halt
Ich hatte all das, all diese Möglichkeiten
Doch sitz ich heute nur besoffen rum in alten linken Kneipen
Und mein Bier heißt 1312, ein Kollektivprodukt
Doch der Blick fürs große Ganze fehlt, habe ich wohl verschluckt
DieWahrheit liegt wohl irgendwo dazwischen so wies meistens ist
Und nur weil ich das weiß, heißt es nicht dass ichs nicht scheiße find

Vielleicht hatte Rio recht und der Traum ist schon aus
Vielleicht ist alles nur schlecht und die Zukunft verbaut
Aber Rio sagte auch das ham wir alle gehört
Dass wir alles tun sollten dass er Wirklichkeit wird

Und ich träume immernoch wie ein Trottel von was Besserem
Mittlerweile Aquarellgemälde die verwässert sind
Doch es ist wie Globuli: Gleiches mit Gleichem
Und bin ich wieder am Wasser kann ich wieder Skizzen zeichnen
Denn der Blick weit wird, Häuserschluchten weichen Horizont
Selbstmitleid stirbt, die Utopie auf ihre Beine kommt
Mischt sich meine Traumwelt mit der Realität
Alles scheint wieder machbar und ich glaub dass alles geht
Glaub an kollektives Leben, dass wir alles teilen
Dass wir lieber Liebe geben oder auch mal verweilen 1
Aus der Defensive lösen und dann allen mitteilen
Wir haben einen Traum und uns wieder vereinen
Statt nach Unterschieden suchen auf Gemeinsames sehen
Kompromisse auszuhalten und auch einfach verstehen
Wir haben dieses eine Leben, um was besser zu machen
Und vom Sofa aufzustehen ist zumindest ein Anfang
Vielleicht klingt das theatralisch und du findest mich pathetisch
Doch der Traum ist nicht aus, glaub dass da immer ein Weg ist

Sometime in my youth I read a book
What is anarchy? A life without dominion
Then I dreamt of a better world
And so beautiful that you think it's better too
I wanted to end wars, always making plans
Theory weekends and constantly falling in love
With the ease that makes everything seem so simple
Theory and practice at the same time - the commonality
Then only thoughts and I failed to act
Isolation and despair simply to transform
And the dreams became paler, a ghostly figure
Then everything just hustle, as you know it then
I had all that, all these possibilities
But today I just sit around drunk in old left-wing pubs
And my beer is called 1312, a collective product
But the eye for the big picture is missing, I guess I swallowed it
The truth is probably somewhere in between, as it usually is
And just because I know that doesn't mean I don't screw it up find

Meanwhile watercolor paintings that are diluted

And when I'm back by the water, I can sketch again
Because the view becomes wide, canyons give way to horizon
Self-pity dies, utopia gets to its feet
My dream world mixes with reality
Everything seems doable again and I believe that everything works
Believe in collective living, that we share everything
That we prefer to give love or just linger 1
Break away from the defensive and then tell everyone
We have a dream and reunite
Instead of looking for differences, look at commonalities
Enduring compromises and simply understanding
We have this one life to make things better
And getting off the couch is at least a start
Maybe that sounds theatrical and you find me pathetic
But the dream is not over, believe there is always a way
