காதில் கேட்கிறதா

காவேரி என்றால் கரையில் அடங்கும்
கடலினை தேடி முடிவில் ஒடுங்கும்
காதலில் எண்ணம் அடங்குவதில்லை
அடங்கிட நானும் காவேரி இல்லை
வார்த்தையில் சொல்ல வாய் வரவில்லை
வந்தென்னை கூட நீ வரவில்லை
வாடும் இவளோ கொடி முல்லை

காற்றும் பூவும் பாடும் பாட்டு காதில் கேட்கிறதா
காதில் கேட்கிறதா

வழியை தேடும் இவள் ஓர் பறவை
வகைதெரியாமல் வளர்த்தால் உறவை
தனி இடம் தேடி தினம் அழலானாள்
வெயிலினால் வாடி இவள் சருகானாள்
கனவினில் தானே வாழுகிறாள்
கண்ணில் வரும் நீர் ஆடுகிறாள்
காதல் சோகம் பாடுகிறாள்

Wind and Flower

Can you hear the song the wind and flower sing?
Can you hear it?
This is a poem written by the waves,
And it cries every day.

The Kaveri river is contained within its banks,
It searches for the sea and finally merges with it.
But my love for you has no boundaries,
I am not the Kaveri to be contained.
Words fail me, I cannot speak,
You didn't come with me when I came.
I am like a withering jasmine vine.
