This expedition was a pleasure for us
When from the mountains we descended into the blossoming valleys
The farmhands abandoned their houses, weapons and herds
The defenders died a heroic death
We razed vineyards and crops to the ground
Our hands smoked with human blood and fat
And from the entire land there remained after us
Not one stone upon another nor a healthy person
We saw the owner of our loot
All in scabs and ulcers he stood in the conflagration
Just before our invasion he lost all his children
