Z lepianek począł się, z zaścianków,
Z najazdów ruskich i tatarskich,
Z niemieckich katedr, włoskich zamków.
W genealogii tej określił
Oryginalny naród się by,
Gdyby się uczył własnej treści,
Zamiast przymierzać cudze gęby.

Chrystusem był i Rzymianinem
I w tej sprzeczności żył - i wyżył:
To dźwigał krzyż i czyjąś winę,
To znów na szyi - tylko krzyżyk.
U Żyda pił, batożył Żyda
A przed żydowską Matką klękał
I czekał łaski malowidła
Najświętsza ratuj go panienka!

Nie lubi stwarzać się - być chciałby.
Wszak Bóg rzekł: "Niech się stanie Polak",
A szatan w płacz - Das ist unglaublich!

Jak dziecko lubi się przebierać
Powtarzać słowa, miny, gesty,
W dziadkowych nosić się orderach
I nigdy mu niczego nie wstyd.
Okrutny bywa, lub przylepny,
W swoim pojęciu niekaralny,
Bo uczuciowo nie okrzepły,
Dojrzewający, embrionalny.

W niewoli - za wolnością płacze
Nie wierząc, by ją kiedyś zyskał,
Toteż gdy wolnym się zobaczy
Święconą wodą na nią pryska.
Bezpiecznie tylko chciał gardłować
I romantycznie o niej marzyć,
A tu się ciałem stały słowa
I Bóg wie co się może zdarzyć!

Oto wzór dla świata:
Pan się z chamem zbratał.
Nie ma pana, nie ma chama -
Jest bańka mydlana.
Aż się słyszeć grom dał,
Z bańki będzie bomba!
Z bomby błysk, czyli blitz -
Znowu nie ma nic.

Pole, it's an embryonic nationalist:

He drank with a Jew, whipped a Jew
And before a Jewish Mother knelt
And he waited for the grace of a painting
Help me, Most Holy Virgin!

He doesn't like to create himself - he would like to be.
After all, God said: "Let there be a Pole",
And Satan wept - Das ist unglaublich!
Unfortunate is my fate in Poland!
The Lord of Darkness rightly fears,

He can be cruel, or sticky,
In his own mind unpunished,
For emotionally he is not hardened,
A growing up, embryonic.

In slavery - he weeps for freedom
Not believing that he will ever gain it,
Therefore, when he sees himself free
He sprinkles it with holy water.
He only wanted to shout safely
And dream about it romantically,
And here the words have become flesh
And God knows what may happen!

This is an example for the world:
The lord has fraternized with the churl.
There is no lord, no churl -
There is a soap bubble.
Until the thunder was heard,
The bubble will become a bomb!
From the bomb a flash, or blitz -
There is nothing again.
