She looked sympathetic with her eyes, big and brown
And I said "Just hang on and I'll jump up and down"

Das ist eins meiner liebsten
Es geht so
Eines Tages muss ich die eigene Kuh nicht melken
Mit meinem Schemel und meinem Eimer und meinem armen Poulet
Ich stelle den Eimer hinab und greife meinen Schemel
Ich sagte „Sei still! Ballsy, du störrisches, offenes Tier!“
„Sei still jetzt, Ballsy, hör auf herumzuspringen
Ich war die ganze Nacht draußen, nur am Herumschleichen“
Sie schaute mitfühlend mit ihren Augen, groß und braun
Und ich sagte „Warte nur ab und ich werde auf und ab springen“
