paroles de chanson Opening announcements from Hugh Cherry (Live: January, 14, 1968) - Johnny Cash

Thank you very much gentleman
We like to thank you and the warden and Coach Kelly
For the opportunity of coming here and recording an album
My name is Hugh Cherry, I'm a radio man from Downey, Los Angeles
And a along the way as you probably know Johnny Cash will be recording an album here
And there is pretty obvious reason for it well the most important is that
John has written a lot of songs that have dealt with prison
And he wanted to do an album that has the feel of the men in it
The songs that with which they can identify
And a along the way if you hear something you like we want you to respond
We want you to react and whatever manner you are motivated to do
If you like it you let us know
And I kinda imagine along the way you'll find some things which you gonna like
John brought his entire act with him
And he brought some very very talented people
Among of us gentleman who wrote quite a number the first song
That with which Elvis Presley gained international popularity
Not the least of which was Blue Suede Shoes
Here's Mr. Carl Perkins
