The seasons will keep changing
The way they've always done
And the earth will keep on turning
yes life will just go on
Oh the mountains will keep standing
Even years and years from now
One life, one love, one banter
read the difference anyhow
When the moon shows no compassion
and the stars don't seem to care
Know that nothing lasts forever
That's the burden we must bear

But hearts like mine can't reason
They simply fail to comprehend
How this world could still have meaning
