In a universe formed from chaos
Organizing itself
Like I could die a poet
Nobody cares about
Or one day stand at a podium
Telling the next generation how I prayed each night
Over a plastic, black keyboard
Or
My life could be neither here nor there
Intensity rewinding down marble stairs
Into sewers
Living timidly like a rat
Before it sprints for its life
Always on alert
I've been sad for so long

It doesn't feel interesting anymore
A great alien once said
"Carpe diem baby"
Not like trash the earth and be trash
More like life is nectar
Worth preserving
Life is nectar worth preserving
I dare you
I dare you
To write a poem in chalk
On the nearest sidewalk and
Give it a lot of thought
Then walk away without showing anyone
Without writing it down
Without making a sound
