My family that I've lost I can not forget
But I won't just sit here & reminisce
Naw, I gotta do all the things they never did
Cuz all they ever did is send them prayers up
& their grace didn't tear down when they were fed up
This wine I pour out some of that rare stuff
In Peru with my boo & we're paired up
Climbing old mountains and new mountains I don't really care who's doubting
cuz I know that faith can move mountains so I don't listen to some dudes shouting
I'm staying on my own path just like the Inca trail
& when it gets so bad I'm concentrating on thinking well
They see me and they get so mad cuz my life they think it's swell
But when I lose I am so glad cuz I only seem to fail
When growth is what I am heading for & real truth no metaphor
So I'm taking risks yea I'm betting more cuz less ain't what I settle for
Cuz empires they fall but we will always stand tall
To live I answer their call so I advance I can't stall
As I'm Headed south guided by the southern cross in twilight sky
The time to live is the time to fly so I shining bright with these rhymes I write

I see the stars in all their wisdom & immediately I am called to listen
Live my truth that is the mission & always follow my intuition
Like Incas followed the constellations, I follow wisdom of all the ancients
That's how I survive the conflagrations, No anxiety or constant pacing
Naw I'm calm in the midst of storms, shedding my preexisting forms
Fight or flight once again I'm torn but I'll always fight against the norms
As I'm headed north guided by the North Star in the twilight sky
