Today, the rainy night echoes,
On this monsoon night,
A garland of sorrowful memories, I weave alone.

Today, for some unknown reason,
I keep the door open in this dark room,
It feels as though you are coming,
My companion in this sorrowful night.
You are coming, with the rain's flow,
Creating melody in the silent forest, awakening joy.

Even if you don't come,
Still, with vain hope,
I wash and keep ready,
The seat for our union.
