I walked from land to shore
"Love?" did I implore
Quote the Raven
"Nevermore!"

On a ship out to the sea
There was nothing out there for me
Thus I gave up the spear, quote the whale
"Nevermore!"

I walked the plank into the sea
Along came a witch of mystery
Undid my curses, some magic words and
My 'Dead Man's Chest' beat once more

Resurrected from the depth
Potion as pure as sacrament
I'm ok now, I guess, but i'm not like I was
Before

I went outside, tried to start over
Freedom, did I go looking for
Quote the town
"Nevermore!"

So to that end, never ending journey
If no justice rewarded to me
Render flesh unto the world
But my soul you shall have
