This world is hell y'all
It's like we gotta escape
To a different place
One where we got power
One where we'll find peace
Is it a possibility
Or is it just a dream

We livin' in the worst outcome of these modern day times
A lot of bad shit goin on everyday in our lives
It gets too much, nobody wanna be depressed
So we escape to the net to relive the stress
We play them video games just to ease the mind
We immerse ourselves deeply just to pass the time
We hide behind a mask whenever we're online
The power it provides can leave us feelin' blind
And that corruption takes a toll on the human soul
To the point we lose compassion, become distant and cold
Now there's no difference between real life and the web
Everybody is dicks, only obsessed with the cred
And it's gotten to the point where we just slaves to the cycle
Nobody feels humble, everybody's entitled
Can we ever be free of this feedback loop
Or are we slaves for eternity, you gotta choose

Yeah, you gotta choose
You can either be free or be a slave, your move
Free will is important, it's in what you do
So don't let yourself be confined by the rules
