Ever since I started getting high I never been so low
Been tryna maintain, I got pain that friends don't know
Not a perfect person, got to keep these urges in control
I tried to stay away, but everyday it seem to tempt me though

And if it's so wrong, somebody tell me why it feels so right
It's the middle of November, I can't hardly even chill at night
My car broke down, thinking 'bout how I'm gon' pay my bills
From talking to me, you could never tell the way I feel
So much on my plate, its better off to say my plate is filled
People faking to my face and got the nerve to say they real
I'm getting buzzed to take the pain away
The sun is out, so why I feel like it's a rainy day?
My mama and my daddy they would say to pray
Instead I handle problems on a day-to-day
It could be worse, so why I do feel like I'm in hell right now?
Tomorrow I'll still have problems, but I know what could help right how
Like a couple of shots, a few drags from a L right now
Should I fight through it? or should I fight the urges?
Don't let substance control you, or take toll on you as a person

You was wasting her time, chasing your high when you could've worked it out
To make it worse she done heard about it through word of mouth
Boy you got her hurting now
Been moody lately, she been carrying your first child
Was gonna tell you but now she don't think its worth her while
Not to mention she say she keeping it too
And when it's born better believe she wanna to keep it from you
She's insulting you to others, making sure that you're the culprit
Its all a chain reaction
When things we don't think would happen come crashing down
Because we reacted off impulses
And now he like "baby I never meant it, I guess I was just tempted"
