ስለ ፡ ምህረቱ ፡ ስለ ፡ እርሱ ፡ ዝና
ሰምቼ ፡ መጣሁ ፡ ሁሉን ፡ ተውኩና
ከሰማሁት ፡ በላይ ፡ አዩት ፡ ዐይኖቼ
እርሱ ፡ ጋር ፡ ቀረሁ ፡ ሕይወት ፡ አግኝቼ
ስለ ፡ ምህረቱ ፡ ስለ ፡ እርሱ ፡ ዝና
ሰምቼ ፡ መጣሁ ፡ ሁሉን ፡ ተውኩና
ከሰማሁት ፡ በላይ ፡ አዩት ፡ ዐይኖቼ
እርሱ ፡ ጋር ፡ ቀረሁ ፡ ሕይወት ፡ አግኝቼ
እርሱ ፡ ጋር ፡ ቀረሁ ፡ ሰላም ፡ አግኝቼ

ነፍሴ ፡ የወደደችው ፡ እርሱን
አይሆንላትም ፡ ሌላ ፡ ነገረ
ከእርሱ ፡ ጋራ ፡ ይዟታል ፡ ፍቅር
የለም ፡ አለች ፡ ከቶ ፡ እንደእግዚአብሔር

በየቀኑ ፡ ወጥመዱን ፡ ሲያጠምድ
ቢሆንለት ፡ ሕይወቴን ፡ ሊያጠፋ
ሳያቋርጥ ፡ እጅግ ፡ ብዙ ፡ ለፋ
ኢየሱሴ ፡ ከእኔ ፡ ጋር ፡ ነበረ
የጠላቴም ፡ ወጥመድ ፡ ተሰበረ

አየሁ ፡ ምህረቱን ፤ አየሁ ፡ ቸርነቱን
አየሁ ፡ ለተጠጋው ፤ አየሁ ፡ ሰው ፡ መውደዱን
