Living in this empty world
Full of dreams and broken promises
There's something stirring deep inside

I don't wanna have to play pretend
While I wait for their world to end
To unleash the animal inside

I feel her chanting in my ear
I feel her calming all my fears
As her skin rips apart my mind

There's nothing left to chance
As we make our sacrificial dance
And as one go tearing through the night

I see their little human lives
And know they'll never realize
The greatness they have left behind

Building their monuments to claim
The same earth they have preordained
To languish under their new reign

As my claws tear through the ground
And I move without a sound
The clarity of it all comes

In this future they will build
Where those like me are killed
I shed my skin and take the night

And when I am reborn
And take on my new form
Will they cower at the sight of me?
As I rend flesh limb from limb
And fill the night with my new hymn
