I met a gally on holiday out in Tenerife and
I can't recall if her name was Emma or Emily
She told me that she loved me
I told her she's just a friend to me but
I guess Emily wasn't feeling that energy
She was feeling the green tryna get next to me
And I could tell that she was waved off the Hennessy
She tried to say my name she calling me JrodCelery
I'm sorry to say that isn't my name
I'm kinda hypocritical though I called her Elaine
The feeling ain't reciprocal though I don't feel the same
I thought that was the end of it so I got on my plane
And now I'm in the sky but somethings weird
Cause I feel like there's been eyes on me since I got in my chair
And I'm looking up and down at the seats back and forth like a swing
Then I go up to the window and Emily's on the wing saying
"Please let me in I think that were meant to be
And I came all this way just so you would stay with me
And don't like heights I really don't wanna fall
And it's cold outside so come and open the door"
I said "What the hell you talking 'bout
I cannot hear we're 30,000 in the air"
I mean I thought she was drunk but obviously I was blind
She just lost the plot the girl was out of her mind

Hör genau zu.
Ich habe im Urlaub auf Teneriffa ein Mädel getroffen und
ich kann mich nicht erinnern, ob ihr Name Emma oder Emily war.
Sie sagte mir, dass sie mich liebt.
Ich sagte ihr, dass sie nur eine Freundin für mich ist, aber
ich glaube, Emily hat diese Energie nicht gespürt.
Sie spürte das Grüne und versuchte, an mich heranzukommen.
Und ich konnte sehen, dass sie vom Hennessy betrunken war.
Sie versuchte, meinen Namen zu sagen, und nannte mich JrodCelery.
Es tut mir leid, aber das ist nicht mein Name.
Ich bin aber irgendwie heuchlerisch, ich nannte sie Elaine.
Das Gefühl ist aber nicht gegenseitig, ich fühle nicht dasselbe.
Ich dachte, das wäre das Ende, also stieg ich in mein Flugzeug.
Und jetzt bin ich im Himmel, aber irgendetwas ist komisch.
Denn ich habe das Gefühl, dass mich jemand beobachtet, seit ich mich hingesetzt habe.
Und ich schaue auf und ab, zu den Sitzen hin und her wie bei einer Schaukel.
Dann gehe ich zum Fenster und Emily ist auf dem Flügel und sagt:
"Bitte lass mich rein, ich glaube, wir sind füreinander bestimmt.
Und ich bin den ganzen Weg hierher gekommen, damit du bei mir bleibst.
Und ich mag keine Höhen, ich will wirklich nicht fallen.
Und es ist kalt draußen, also komm und öffne die Tür."
Ich sagte: "Was zum Teufel redest du da?
Ich kann dich nicht hören, wir sind 30.000 Fuß in der Luft."
Ich meine, ich dachte, sie wäre betrunken, aber offensichtlich war ich blind.
Sie hat einfach den Verstand verloren, das Mädchen war außer sich.
