Each drop of rain

Falls a million times its own length
To crash upon earth's floor
And with its pain
Causes life to start anew
Each second fights its way
Magically through your entire life
Like a salmon traveling upstream
To its final destination
And with its goal in sight
Life ends

And rides the life of all mankind

Not until it crashes against the earth
