どこにゆくのかと 尋ねた人は
電灯をつらつらと 家路をゆく

どこで暮らそうと
どこで果てようと

Mirage

My dream is so distant I cannot speak of it
It stopped at the tip of my foot like a wave.

Here I breathe, here I reach out
I asserted that it was nobody's fault

Yet my hesitation lingers, a mirage
I was even confused by the spray.

A boat returns from the horizon
Hurrying towards a small happiness

The sunset is too long for people to live
And it makes me feel lonely for no reason.

Unfurling its sails, the boat sets out again
Seeing off those who will not return

Closing today and opening tomorrow
Only the wind carries that.

Someone asked where I was going
As they continued on their way home with lights on

Wherever I may live
Wherever I may end up
