Oath of Dawn

Who do people have encounters with,
What kind of place will they make?
All things that live,
Even within enclosures,
They laugh, they scream, they get lost,
They flock, they take aim, they play,
Beneath one roof,
Separate lives,
Unable to be taught by anyone,
A figure flying away backward.
We who continue learning,
Only straighten our collars.
The nature we left behind
No longer has a place to be swept,
Till the next bud is born,
The determination entrusted to us.
