First Day Out

Been locked down so long I lost track of the days
Threw my calendar away, as I sit back in a daze
Making marks on the wall and going out of my mind
I tried to take any route I could find, no escape
I'm guilty till proven innocent
Tryna do my due diligence

I keep praying, it's the moment I'm awaiting
The feeling I've been chasing, the feeling of escaping
The nights I spent pacing, the chains I dream of breaking
I see the gates raising, I push with no hesitation
