Buson's Bell
A haiku teaching consisting of one haiku by Japanese Master, Yosa Buson
Followed by four haiku by his Student, WCT
Buson's Bell
Four hundred years ago, the Japanese poet, Yosa Buson
Wrote these words in the form of a haiku poem
Cool of the morning
Separating from the Bell
The voice of the Bell
Buson is my teacher
Buson learned to write haiku from his teacher, Hayano Hajin
Hajin learned to write haiku from his teacher, Matsuo Basho
Basho is my teacher too. Here is what I have learned
From Buson, Hajin and Basho in my Haiku
Deep in the heart of man
An old bell rings loud and clear
Generations... muddled
Listen deeply, please
Your bell needs to be rung... loud... LOUD
If you can find it
Not the bell itself
But the ringing's what matters
To wake the sleeping dead
Seek and you will find
The bell that lies within you
Ring it from your heart
From Your Heart
