I wait for dawn to come
Before me, Gerlet's ghost
My dear loyal friend
He saved my babe, my son

Tormenting me each night
Shadows of the truth again
Trembling and filled with hate
Red mist blinded me
Blinded me with rage

When I came home, I saw
The quake was overturned
Let out my nostrils
Looked down to Gerlet's face

I thought the very worst
Into his side, I plunged my sword
I heard the babe cry out
The late night wolf Gerlet killed

Blinded my rage
Raging anger
Fire, inside me

I sought my sudden death
A lone hungry wolf attack
Shadows and deep regrets
A darkness than before
Coming to me each night (each night)
Shadows of the truth again
Rambling and filled with hate
Red mist blinded me
