Текст песни Where You Want Me (Commentary) - Brett Young
I
hope
you've
been
enjoying
the
Brett
Young
Ticket
to
L.A.
album
Release
special.
We
are
talking
to
Brett
about
all
the
songs
on
His
new
album
and,
man,
this
next
song,
when
you
first
start
Listening
to
it,
it
feels
so
good,
but
if
you
really
pay
attention
To
the
lyrics,
this
song
is
kind
of
a
bummer,
and
I
think
people
Will
be
surprised
to
know
that
this
song
was
actually
written
at
a
Time
when
nobody
would
have
expected
you
to
write
this
kind
of
song
"Where
You
Want
Me"
is
actually
a
funny
story.
I
wrote
it
the
day
After
I
got
engaged.
You
would
think,
get
engaged
and
then
your
next
Song
that
you
write
is
going
to
be
the
happiest
song
you've
ever
Written.
But
you've
got
to
also
be
conscious
of
the
song
in
the
room
I
never
believed
in
that
phrase
until
I
moved
to
Nashville,
it's
True.
And
Shane
McAnally
just
had
this
Ronnie
Milsap
vibe
that
he
Really
wanted
to
write,
and
we
got
to
the
end
of
the
chorus
And
we
were
still
writing
a
love
song
at
the
time,
and
we
got
To
the
very
end
of
the
chorus
and
we
were
like,
"The
story's
Not
matching
the
sound
of
the
song."
And
that's
why
you
get
that
Kind
of
twist
at
the
end
with
the
"Baby,
you
don't
want
me
no
More."
It
was
just
interesting
that
that
was
the
right
song
for
The
day
because
I
really
did
expect
to
get
engaged
and
then
the
Next
day
write
the
sappiest
love
song
ever,
but
it's
fun
to
have
That
like
kind
of
throwback
Ronnie
Milsap
vibe
on
the
record
Well
like
I
said,
this
song
feels
so
good,
but
you
never
Would
have
known
that
he
wrote
it
right
after
he
got
Engaged
except
for
the
fact
that
he
just
told
you.
