Fallen out of sight
I gazed upon the dark I held inside
Why would I let it take control of who I am
Impossible to face this sea of guilt

I feel trapped within my mind

The progress that I made

A serpent coiled around my beating heart
I know I can't give in to the darkness deep inside
Sometimes it's hard to be the better man
(and walk the path of light)

To find the path I used to travel down
