I woke up this morning
For the first time in a long time
I felt alright
I didn't dream about you
Like I've dreamed about you
All those lonely nights
I poured myself some coffee
Left your cup on the shelf
I'm finally feeling alright
With being by myself

I'm dealing
With all you put me through
Slowly a new me's appearing

I finally got the nerve up
To take down all those pictures
And not fall apart
There I finally did it
Oh heart go on admit
That wasn't so hard
I sat down and read the funnies
Peanuts made me laugh
One of life's little pleasures
But it's simple things like that that's got me
