Hearing these funny conversations about how wealth is grown
How we can make it generational
These fakers and haters who support everybody but supporting their own
How we clapping and paying more attention to everybody building their homes
Then being the force in being involved to our brothers reaching their goals pause
You see it's the curse of the visionary
You too busy trying to be accepted
I wasn't tryina compete
I was trying to build a black wall-street so they can see up to me
Black owned businesses and everything that I came with
You see I did it by myself ain't need no help
Everybody doubted the fact that I could do it
But the truth is I do it I'm about it
Financial literacy is my only freedom so I choose to be free making this money
But truth is I'm close
I'm doing this like alchemy changing fact changing fax cause the facts like seven figures while your trying to figure it out
I was home alone I was spitting and writing these lyrics then they called my phone
An unknown private number
This might be the call I've been waiting for to keep me from going under
You see this deep depression had me writing 300 songs over summer
I was barely breathing tryna hold on to my composure couldn't believe a single call could evoke so many emotions
That conversation led to a meeting with me walking away from a deal
I know 2 mill could of changed my life for real
But here's my explanation I wanted to build my own for my people see if somebody is willing to give you that kind of money then you gotta wonder what your really worth
I know freedom ain't free
I'd rather die on my on my feet
Rather die on my feet
Than to live on my knees
I know freedom ain't free I'd rather die on my feet
Man how I see it everybody's a slave
Like he a slave you a slave I'm a slave we all slaves we can't escape it
Yeah well I mean financial freedom
I think is like the only freedom but it's strange they don't talk about it in schools
