Stargazing

At 2 AM I carried a telescope to the railroad crossing
Strapped my belt around a radio, it seems it won't rain

After two minutes you arrived with your exaggerated luggage
Shall we begin, Stargazing? Searching for a shooting star

I tried my best to not be swallowed by the deep darkness
On that day I tried to hold your shivering hand

I stared into the telescope, trying to see the unseen
Our voices emerged, piercing through the silence
Even when tomorrow called out to us, we hardly responded

Before I notice, I'm always relentlessly looking for something

From the moment we're born until we die, we're always searching

Everything I've ever found, I remember it all

I stared into the telescope, yearning to know the unknown
I searched for a faint light that could illuminate the darkness

I'm well, with few worries

I missed what was clearly visible, and once again carried my telescope
I ran through the silent, dark way back
And so I learned about pain, it still gives me strength today
