American Flags

Though reticent to represent
They wave as their beloved republic bleeds
The victim of insatiable greed
And criminal acts dressed up in the flag
So no one can disagree
Then, when crack the camel's back
It started out in front of the Capitol
A hundred coming down from their flagpoles
It got in so bad even Blue-Eyed and Red
Refused to take it anymore

To swallow them up and bury them deep into the ground

A dozen more are filling the room
Now down his knees, "Lord, they're coming for me
