It's much easier to write the last couple songs that is the first couple songs
And when you're there, I realize that this record needed its power
It needed the strength in saying, you've got the power, we've got the power together
The power of a prayer, power of believing, um, that when you change something inside yourself
It all changes, that, that powerful message that is so true

I had been told I had to hand in the album
It was time to go, the piece of art was done send it in
And Sony had asked me and I actually ended up adding this song before I even had finished it
And put three minutes forty five and they said this is the timing, right, and this is the song
And I said, "Yes, yes, yes"
And we had to then write the song to three minutes forty five

Am Ende jedes Albums hat man ein Gefühl dafür, was einem noch fehlt.
Es ist viel einfacher, die letzten paar Songs zu schreiben als die ersten paar Songs.
Und als ich dort war, erkannte ich, dass diese Platte ihre Kraft brauchte.
Sie brauchte die Stärke, um zu sagen: Du hast die Kraft, wir haben die Kraft zusammen.
