One, two, three!

Belly burst, broken bones, blistered boil
Fell asleep inside the soil
Coalesce, cold caress, tethered soul
I fell into an endless hole

Seeking solace on this ever turning tide
I feel the phantom fingers
Crawling through the caverns in my mind
I'm falling deep into the shadow of the sun
Slow burning
Breathe in all the ashes and become my light

Barren flesh, shallow breath, flowing blood
Born and bound unto the mud
Crippled grip, fickle skin, hollow veins
Purified inside the flame

Seeking sanctum on this ever burning bridge
I feel my foothold crumble
Slipping slowly, stumble through my sins
I'm falling deep into the torn and tattered sky
Cold yearning
Symphony of silence left inside my heart

Brace for the impact, collusion of shadow and bone
Frayed by the contact of those left bereft and alone
Self-inflicted, stumbled and staggered from home
Shot in the dark, swallow the spark
And crawl through the cracks that are shown
Oh my God!
What have we done?!
Buried the truth in the blood
Cast out the light of the Son
