My childhood is coming to an end
I'm moving up in the world
The fact that I'll be on my own
It's so surreal; I can't believe it's happening

Making my own decisions
Isn't that so exciting?
No more rules I have to follow
Except the law; that's kind of a big deal

Soon I'll be leaving the house that I grew up in
Being independent; free to be myself
Next stop is college, the place where I form my career
I'm free to explore the world; so much to do!

I'm gonna be adulting the shit out of life
Yeah, there's taxes but there is more than that
Like choosing how I want to spend my moolah
And going to the club to have some fun

It's my say where I go vacay
I can decide when is bedtime
So much good for being an adult
