He was raised, uh, that is, uh, north of Enterprise, Mississippi
And, uh, his daddy was a, a section performer up and down that railroad
He had a certain section and, uh, I think they lived at what they call Enterprise
He could have been married and I don't know
I believe either he was, and uh, but I just never did know his wife

In those days, uh, you didn't ask questions
Boomers, they called him, like me and him and
A whole multitude of other men that just followed the railroad industry
And, uh, the biggest thing, you asked how much money they had right then
Where we going to stay tonight, or something like that, and uh, so, he didn't

However, he did say he had a daughter
That's about all I knew about his family life, that, uh, he had a daughter
And, uh, Anita, I believe, was her name, or something like that
And, uh, I knew about it, but we never did talk about it

So blue, so lonesome too
