When counterproductive thoughts arise displace them
Work on being more open
Hold doors open
So other people can walk thru
Continue to work on not automatically looking over every single woman

Every Day

My subconscious is real fertile
Soon as I wake I hit the dream journal
It's like consulting with the oracle
And then I oil pull, followed by a saltwater rinse
I look for Puerto Rico quarters from the US mint
Every time I get change because my mom be collecting them
Even though since Trump got on I've seen less of them
I know something's wrong
Cause I still see a lot Virgin Islands and American Samoa and Guam
But moving on
I keep the place tidy
I've been scrubbing dishes with my left hand even though I'm righty
Trying to be ambidextrous
I do those type of extras every day I exist
It could be just a slight adjustment to a physical movement
Little things mean a lot as far as self improvement

It takes a little extra effort not to lose it
When I walk passed young people playing trash music
Somehow I never get used to it
I hear em talking to each other and without exception
They say the word "nigga" fifteen times per sentence
It pains my senses
It hurts my heart
I stay centered
I focus on my art
I focus on the light and not the dark
To keep from going mad and handle being a man apart
The battle is ongoing
But I'm growing
I remind myself that the first order of business is to find myself
Redefine myself
And refine myself
