Tu nad tym brzegiem płoną wici wojny
Gdy słowa w miecze przetopiły się
Srebrzyste włócznie niosło w dal odległą
A szańcem stał się rzeki drugi brzeg
W szkarłat odziany triumfował Mieszko
Cofnąć się musiał, w wściekłym szale wróg
Nurt zabrał ciała topielców daleko
I tylko kajdan zabrzmiał tępy dźwięk
Najazd Germanów napiętnował klęską

Świetnym zwycięstwem zapisała się

Teutońska strzała i topór na tarczy
Wśród pól i lasów stroszy skrzydła swe
Ojczyzny Lechów zawsze wierny strażnik
Na chwałę mężnym wije gniazdo swe
O bohaterstwie z dumą będzie świadczył

I see you in the horror of smoke and blood,
Stone Eagle on the bank of the Oder
There is your gaze, where your army sleeps
Wrapped in white and red glow
I walk amidst the turmoil, through the morning mist
Black, ravenous hordes are flying from the west
Is this reality, or am I dreaming?
Here, on this bank, war flames burn
When words were smelted in swords
Silvery spears carried you far away
And the other side of the river became a rampart
Clad in scarlet, Mieszko triumphed
The furious enemy was forced to retreat
The current carried the bodies of the drowned far away
And only the dull sound of shackles was heard
The Teutonic invasion was marked by a defeat

When the time comes to raise weapons again
When the time comes for sons to fight for their fatherland
Remember those who faced death
And those who cherished Eternal Colors
The Battle of Cedynia brought a glorious victory
And so, throughout time, memories of it flow
A song about it remains in the memory
A Teutonic arrow and an axe on the shield
Spreads its wings among fields and forests
Forever a faithful guardian of the Lechitic homeland
In honor of the brave, it weaves its nest
Witnessing the heroism with pride
