全盲の少女
生まれてこの方 光を知らない
いつも独り うつむいている

睛眼の少年

少女の手を引き走る

暗闇が逃げ込んだ丘で 彼は指をさす
少女はそれすら 見えないのに

光咲く 夜空も
少女の 前ではただのユメ
こんなに光っていても 見えないのか
少女は 知らない

それすら見えないのに

全盲の少女
色の飽和した 世界を知らない
いつもきらり 笑うようになる
見えないままでいいと
強がるでもなく 彼に笑いかける

色のない世界を 知らない
いつしか笑顔も忘れ
意地でも連れて行くんだと
夢物語に躍起になる

「あそこまで行けば きっときっと
君にも映るだろう」
暗闇が溶け出した空に 彼は指をさす
少女はそれすら 見えないのに

光咲く 宇宙も
少年の 前ではただのユメ
あんなに光っているのに 届かないのか
少年は 忘れた
何故だか 光は頬を伝う
それすら

夢を見すぎた 彼の眼が
光をなくすまでに そう時間もかからなかった
気づくと何も 見えなくなっていた
空も自分も 少女さえも映らない
「はじめから光を知らない
君には何も わからないさ」

少女は見えない ままでいいと
強がるでもなく 彼に笑いかける
少年は本当の理由を 忘れていた
本当の光を 忘れていた
少女は言う
「光ならもう 見つけたの」

光咲く 宇宙も
少年の 前ではただのユメ
あんなに光っていたのに 届かないのか
少年は知った それゆえ 光は頬を伝う
それすら見えないけど

光咲く 夜空も
二人の前では ただの夢
光は二人の 瞳を透過しない
二人は知った
それでも光が そばにいることを
二つの照らし合う星

Never having seen light
Always alone and looking down
She dreams of seeing light someday

It seems like a dream

A boy with sight
Never having known darkness
Always carefree and smiling
He wants to show her light now
Takes her hand and runs

He says, "There's a special place
I'm sure you'll see it too."
On a hill where the darkness hides, he points
Though she can't see anything

The starry night sky
Is just a dream to her
Even with all this light, she can't see
She doesn't know why
But tears stream down her face
Though she can't see them

Blind from birth
Never having seen the world of colors
She always smiles
Content with not being able to see
She smiles at him, not pretending to be strong

A boy with sight
Never having known a world without color
He forgets to smile
Determined to take her with him
Lost in his dream

He says, "If we go there, I'm sure, I'm sure
You'll see it too."
In the sky where darkness melts away, he points
Though she can't see anything

The sparkling universe
Is just a dream to him
Even with all that light, he can't reach it
He forgets
But tears stream down his face
Though he can't see them

He dreamed too much
That his eyes would be lost in light
Before he knew it, he could see nothing
Not the sky, not himself, not even her
You've never seen light
So you don't understand

She's okay with not being able to see
She smiles at him, not pretending to be strong
He had forgotten the real reason
Forgotten the real light
She says,
"I've already found light."

Even though they can't see it
