I've been through shit, even in a hard way
Still getting through all these hard days
And through life it was hard playing
Tryna figure out when it's ok
Tryna be a man, even when still brave
Some look at me in a good way
Hope I live long, what would they say
Pray that I make it with no gain
Pressure on me, feeling so stressed
I'm hoping for the best, just keep me on yes
All these feelings got me feeling like less
I hope that one day they keep me so blessed
If I want something then I'mma go get it
Here for myself so I don't regret it
If I lose hope I'mma keep on getting
Bad shit from the past is worth forgetting

So tired of this pain on me
So bad that it makes me feel weak
Sometimes you gotta make believe
Like that I can't feel defeat
Fighting for my life is so vital
As long as it's not suicidal
Instead of just clashing with my rivals
I just gotta fight for survival

Just because it's free, what doesn't mean break the law
Discrimination, that shit is so raw
And when I try hard, I just want more
Even when my body gets so sore
Going through the same shit as my dad did
I'm just so thankful that he made it
When everyone dies it's a crisis
Cause all your loved ones are left crying
I just wanna live in a better life
Before my death I'll be so terrified
Even during bad dreams I'm petrified
And even with love you will really try
And sometimes you really gotta focus
Even if it means feeling hopeless
I even work hard to make progress
Making sure that I make it to my oldest
