W samym domu chociaż znośnie, to wieczorem niespecjalnie,

Telewizor jeszcze owszem, ale z reszty nie korzystam,
Bo tu - mówię - czytać każą, a to praca przecież czysta!

Zapisałem się do takich, co tym interesem kręcą,

Muszę składki płacić, chodzić na zebrania i nic więcej,

Mówią, że jak wytypują, to zbić można szmal niewąski,
I tak samo bez kolejki można dostać tu mieszkanie!
Lepsze to niż trzymać świnie, bo się nie wybabrzesz w łajnie,
Tylko w samym tym, że jesteś - swoje masz wyrachowanie.

Wszyscy tu są trochę głupi, trudno wyczuć o czym mówią,
Po dziesiątej cisza nocna - ci gadają, jakby w strachu!
Ja tam w nocy śpię, w dzień czytam i wykładów wszystkich słucham!
Liczą ze mną się ci ważni! Na nieważnych kładę lachę!

Stach! Pieniądze ci posyłam jakeś chciał!
Na dziewuchy nie wydawaj, przyjdą same,
Ale sobie nic nie żałuj, będziesz miał!
Już się o to postarają tata z mamą!

Ty na świnie nie wyrzekaj - swoje wiem.
Tam uważaj, bo studenci są złodzieje!

Na dziewuchy ani grosza! Tak zjechałem jednej tyłka

Łatwo tutaj się pokazać, bo tu każdy sobie lekce-

Mam co jeść i mam gdzie spać, więc nas władze nie zagłodzą,
Więc się nie martw o mnie, to się zobaczymy na Wołyniu!

Wy tam na wsi też działajcie, bo to koniec jest komuny,

Dad! I haven't even been here a month, and I understand everything already,

Classes are like in a combined school, only more poorly furnished,

Only the auditorium - such a hall, but lined with wood

The rector gave me my student ID here, and he looked like a parish priest
And they sang like in church, so, in general - I'm not complaining!
I don't know how this rector knows you, but he talked a lot about you,
That you supposedly raised me to be a human being back there!

I live here in a dorm - it's like a hotel for students,
The room is a bit bigger than a pigsty, but there are only four of us.
The other three - some kind of weaklings, so I don't brag about money here,
I only buy food for myself, so send me some paper.

The house itself is bearable, but in the evening it's not so great,
Well, there's a TV and showers and a laundry room, that's all!
The TV is okay, but I don't use the rest,
Because here - I'm telling you - they make us read, and that's pure work!

I signed up with those who are involved in this business,
They say it pays off and helps with studying!
I have to pay dues, go to meetings, and nothing more,
In return, they will take me into account for every selection.

They say that if you get selected, you can make a lot of money,
And you can get an apartment here without waiting in line!
