The jealous queen called for her huntsman
To take Snow White from home
To slay her in the lonely forest
Remove her heart and claim the throne

Snow White found favour with the huntsman
He set her free among the trees
She found the house of seven miners
She dwelt with them and they were pleased

The queen looked in her magic mirror
She saw that Snow White lived
Disguised in rags she went to find her
To tempt her with a poisoned treat

They laid her at the prince's feet
