Did you ever care about yourself?
Guess I'm good at lying
How much of my dark side played a part?
Was it hidden with good lighting?
I don't think that I've been dealing with it
Making everything worse was never the intent

I got bruises from fighting with the floor too much
I got bruises from pulling myself back up
Fake tears at the end of it all
So I can tell myself I'll change
