Survival

I feel a breeze and open my eyes cover in sand
And wake up dizzy as i have difficulties to stand
Up in a strange land, some kind of desertic jungle
Can't be possible... my guts tells me to be really careful

Searching anything useful found an old machete
A survival challenge seems required to be free
I'm up to it, I survived in the wilderness many times
Even though this looks more dangerous by many signs

I have to find a shelter before nightfall
Pitch dark nights would make people's skin crawl
Close call, but chill! my animal instincts soon restore
I explore surroundings, way stronger than before

I use the stars to find my way if the night is clear
North Star as reference to get freedom's frontier
Wild animals blend and hunt me down as a prey
Big cats, I easily tame & befriend them any day

Now we form an unlikely pack of wild creatures
Experience adventures and freedom to reach the borders
Now real buddies despite being of different species
Each of us providing our own set of abilities

Well I'm a human so I guess I can't be useful as much!
My intelligence? Let's be honest it's not so much
But they follow my every step 'cause I'm the alpha
My fellas, I chose to live here with them and no drama
