Moses led his people out of bondage
From far and wide they came
These Hebrew tribes
And he led them cross a vast and endless desert
To the place he talked with God
Mount Sinai

He left them down below and started climbing
He knew not what to do when he arrived
He only knew that he must follow orders
That he was given by his God on Sinai

Then the mighty voice of God
Rang out like thunder
And as God spoke
He carved his words in stone
And his words became the laws in which we live by
It's those commandments
That have taught me right from wrong

Yes the Bible tells of miracles from Heaven
Like the sea that opened up to show the way
Of the walls that crumbled down
When the Hebrews blew their trumpets loud
And the walls of Jericho
They fell that day

Then the mighty voice of God

And his words became the laws in which we live by
It's those commandments
That have taught me right from wrong

Yes those words live on today
They give us strength to find our way
The ten commandments
Are the mighty voice of God
