Someone built a house
Made it weather-proof
Someone brought a staircase
Got to the roof
Someone looked down
Someone said it's fine
Someone celebrated
With a breath full of wine

Someone made a garden
Someone dropped the seeds
One landed in the shadow
Where no one saw the needs
So it left the roots
And it went up the stone
And it opened up face
And it sits there alone
