Vorfreude sei die schönste Freude
Behaupten in der Firma eigentlich die meisten leute
Der Alltag ist krank und er stresst mich

Immer träume ich von paradiesichen Orten
Reise ich hin wenn ich keinen Herzinfakt hab

Keinen Tag geschwänzt, niemals krank gewesen
Offiziell, immer pünktlich, brav die Hand gegeben
Da liegt ein Zettel auf meinem Tisch?
Manche verpassen den Bus, manche verpassen das Leben
Will ich nicht lesen, will den Gipfel erklimmen

Anticipation is the greatest joy
That's what most people at the company claim
Everyday life is sick and it stresses me out
But whatever, in a few decades I'll be 67

I always dream of paradise-like places
I'll travel there if I don't have a heart attack
I've been saving for a trip abroad my whole life
Never skipped a day, never been sick
Officially, always punctual, dutifully shaken hands
Is there a note on my desk?
Some people miss the bus, some people miss life
I don't want to read it, I want to climb the summit
Fimra gets the profit, my child will benefit too
Broken back, eventually I'll get a pension
But not just the waiting will finally come to an end
