Chalo Dyare Nabi Ki Janib

Chalo diyaar-e-nabi ki jaanib durood lab par saja saja kar
Bahaar luuttain ge ham karam ki dilon ko daman bana bana kar
Na un ke jesa sakhi hei koii na un ke jesa ghani hei koii
Wo be-nawa-o ka har jaga se nawaazte hein bula bula kar
Mein wo nikamma hun jisski jholi main koii husn-e-amal nahiin hei
Magar wo ihsaan kar rahe hein khata-ain meri chhupa chhupa kar
Hei unki ummat se pyaar kitna karam hei rahmat sha′aar kitna
Hamaare jurmon ko dho rahe hein wo apne aansu baha baha kar
Yahi asaas-e-amal hei meri issi se bigrri bani hei meri
Samett-ta hun karam khuda ka nabi ki naatain suna suna kar
Wo raahain ab tak saji huii hein dilon ka kaaba bani huii hein
Jahaan jahaan se huzur guzre hein naqsh apna jama jama kar
Agar muqaddar ne yaawri ki agar madine gya mein Khaalid
Qadam qadam khaak uss gali ki mein chuum lun ga uttha uttha kar

Let's Go to the City of the Prophet

Let's go to the city of the Prophet, recite "durood" (prayers) on our lips time and again
We will gather the blessings like the spring, take our hearts as a gathering
There is no one as generous as him, nor as rich as him
Wherever they are helpless, they invoke him, calling out
I am that useless one who has no beauty in his pocket
But they are doing me a favor, hiding my mistakes
How much they love their followers, how much mercy and compassion they have
They are washing away our sins with their tears
This is the basis of my deeds, this is how I am ruined and made good
I gather God's grace by reciting the "naat" (praises) of the Prophet
Those paths are still adorned, they have become the Kaaba of hearts
Wherever the Prophet passed, they left their mark
If destiny favors me, if I go to Medina, Khaalid
I will kiss the dust of those streets at every step
