Why do I sweat in the middle of winter?
Why do I wake in the middle of night?
Why do I tremble when I think about rainbows?
Why am I wrong when I know that I'm right?

Why do I cry at the big happy endings?
Why don't I blink when I look at the sun?
Why do I revel in the light of my nightmares?
Why do I stay when my friends have all gone?

It makes me comfortable
And I enjoy it
It's kinda' wonderful
