ಬಯಕೆ ಮರೆವೆ
ಹೃದಯ ತಡಿವೆ
ಇದು ಕಹಿಯೋ ಸಿಹಿಯೋ
ಕಣ್ ಹನಿಯೋ? ಹರಿವೋ?
ಇದು ನನ್ನಾ ಹಸಿರು ಕವನ
ಜಸ್ಟ್ ಮಾತ್ ಮಾತಲ್ಲೀ
ಜಸ್ಟ್ ಮಾತ್ ಮಾತಲ್ಲಿ
ಸುರಿವಾ ಮಳೆ ನಿಂತು ತಂಪಾಗಿದೆ
ಬರಿದಾದ ಭುವಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಹಸಿರಾಗಿದೆ
ಗೂಡ ಬಿಡಲು ಹಕ್ಕಿಯೂ ಹಾತೊರೆದಿದೆ
ತನ್ನದೆಂದ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯ ಬಾನಿಗೊಡ್ಡಿದೆ
ಸೋತ ಈ ಸಮಯ ಹಾಡಾಗಿದೆ
ಇದು ಕಹಿಯೋ ಸಿಹಿಯೋ
ಕಣ್ ಹನಿಯೋ? ಹರಿವೋ?

Is this bitter or sweet?
Is it a teardrop? Or a flowing river?
This is my verdant poem

The torrential rain has stopped, and the air has cooled
The barren earth is green again
The bird has left its nest and abandoned its song
It has given its wings to the sky
This defeated moment has become a song
