श्री रामचन्द्र कृपालु भजुमन हरण भवभय दारुणं ।
नव कंज लोचन कंज मुख कर कंज पद कंजारुणं ॥१॥
कन्दर्प अगणित अमित छवि नव नील नीरद सुन्दरं ।
पटपीत मानहुँ तडित रुचि शुचि नोमि जनक सुतावरं ॥२॥

भजु दीनबन्धु दिनेश दानव दैत्य वंश निकन्दनं ।
रघुनन्द आनन्द कन्द कोशल चन्द दशरथ नन्दनं ॥३॥

शिर मुकुट कुंडल तिलक चारु उदारु अङ्ग विभूषणं ।
आजानु भुज शर चाप धर संग्राम जित खरदूषणं ॥४॥

इति वदति तुलसीदास शंकर शेष मुनि मन रंजनं ।
मम् हृदय कंज निवास कुरु कामादि खलदल गंजनं ॥५॥

My gracious Lord Ramachandra, please protect me as I bow to You to dispel all my terrible fears.
Your new lotus eyes, lotus face, lotus hands, and lotus feet are rosy red.
Your countless and boundless beauty surpasses that of Cupid; You are more handsome than a dark blue cloud.
Your yellow silken garments gleam like lightning; You are very pure, the son of King Janaka’s daughter.

Worship the friend of the humble, the Lord of the day, the destroyer of the demons and ogres.
Ramachandra, the source of bliss, the moon in the sky of Kosala, the beloved son of Dasharatha.

Your beautiful crown, earrings, and tilaka adorn Your handsome form.
Your arms extend to Your knees; you hold a bow and arrows in Your hands. You are victorious in battle, having slain Khara and Dushana.

Thus speaks Tulsidasa, who gives joy to the minds of Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, and the great sages.
Please reside in the lotus of my heart and destroy the forest fire of lust and other obstacles.
