Always be kind to your mother
It's the greatest gift you can give
Obey and do what she tells you
And pray that long here, she might live

We all take mothers for granted
And do things that cause her much pain
To her, you are always her baby
She'll love you 'til death makes its claim

Please, go to your mom while she's living
And tell her you love her today
Don't put it off 'til tomorrow

God took her from this world of sin
The night that the angel's came for her
I knew then what grief really meant

God knows how I miss my dear mother
But someday I'll enter within
The mansions of God up in glory
Then I'll be with mother again
