Doch wieder alleine ist
Warum Entfernung, wie auch Nähe
Sich durch meine Wege frisst wie Gift

Ich wende meinen Kopf und blicke gegen Osten
In allzu hellem Licht beginnt der Nachthimmel zu rosten
Und ich weiß, dass ich dann nicht mehr bin
Dann fängt das Spiel von vorne an
Doch zwischen meinen kalten Fingern
Glänzt ein Hauch Obsidian

The steps into the ground

Praise the night before the morning
It pulls you further and further
Further into nothingness
And one day you will see
That nothingness is everything

My world finally finds peace
My night is left to me alone

Something carries me further
Further through existence
Further through the fog
For I was never alone
Often I have asked myself
Why the world hates me
Why it is repulsive to me
With this penetrating force
Why even in togetherness
One is still alone
Why distance, as well as closeness
Eats through my paths like poison

I turn my head and look towards the east
In too bright a light the night sky begins to rust
And I know that I will then be no more
Then the game starts all over again
But between my cold fingers
Glints a touch of obsidian
